Your generosity helps ensure that cost is never a barrier to participating in the ALS Clinical Research Learning Institute® (CRLI). Donations help cover program costs, including travel and lodging for people living with ALS and their caregivers, so they can attend without the added financial burden of participating. Your support gives participants the opportunity to learn from leading ALS experts, connect with others, and become informed partners in shaping the future of ALS research.
CRLI participants, caregivers, and faculty gather at the 2023 ALS Clinical Research Learning Institute.
Knowledge. Connection. Impact.
The ALS CRLI is a two-day educational program from the Network of Excellence for ALS (NEALS) that equips people living with ALS, caregivers, and others impacted by the disease with a deeper understanding of clinical research and the therapy development process.
Graduates become NEALS ALS Research Ambassadors — a growing network of informed advocates who bring the lived experience of ALS to advisory committees, clinical trial design, regulatory discussions, and policy conversations. Their contributions help make ALS research more patient-centered by improving how studies are designed and conducted, while strengthening the partnership between the ALS community and researchers to advance new therapies.
One hundred percent of your gift is directed to the institute — ensuring cost is never a barrier for people living with ALS and their caregivers to attend.
